New To Overcoming Together?
What Can I Expect When I Arrive For Personal Ministry?
Personal ministry is set up sort of like a doctor’s office. Teams of people pray for a short while in private rooms for those who come to receive ministry, teams are made up of men and women with tested ministry, character, etc. We pray for physical, spiritual, and emotional healing and then anything else the Lord reveals.
When you first walk through our doors, you will be greeted by a friendly receptionist. They will ask you to sign your name on a sheet as we operate on a first come, first serve basis. After filling out a short form, a trained prayer team of 3-4 people will pray, in advance, over your prayer request before meeting with you.
When you enter one of our two private rooms, you will be asked to face the cross, where Jesus lifted our burdens, accomplished and finished everything.
Then, the team members will take turns to pray for you, according to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
We are not counsellors, so this is not counselling. It is positive, gentle, and prayer is administered with God’s love, grace, and mercy.
All ministry is on a first come, first serve basis and there is no cost involved. Overcoming Together is 100% volunteer based, and 100% dependent on donations.
Bible Study and Regular Discipleship
Study groups offer a place to connect with other believers in fellowship; to grow in our understanding of the Bible, as Jesus’ disciples did; to meet the needs of others within the group in ministry; to become equipped for evangelism and good works; and to worship God through practicing godly behavior, whether in thought, speech, or action.
Relationships & Staying Connected
God created us for relationship! First, with Him (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and second, with others. Many Christian believers today do not recognize the importance of fellowship or local church involvement, Christian fellowship is essential to our spiritual growth.
Many aspects of our spiritual lives depend on being together with other believers to encourage, teach, serve, and share life together. We are never alone… we are a member of God’s family.
How to contact us and get connected and informed. There are many ways that you can stay connected, stay informed, and make your prayer requests. We encourage all to remain in relationship with others, so we may encourage and support each other in difficult life circumstances.

Prayer
Prayer is simply communicating with God… listening and talking to Him. Prayer develops our relationship and intimacy with God. Without 2-way communication (both listening and talking), relationships quickly deteriorate. It is the same way with God. Prayer or communicating with God … helps us grow closer and more intimately connected with our Creator. Listening Prayer is particularly effective as a way of communicating.
Serving Others
The Bible says everyone is called to serve God by serving others. We are most like Jesus when we are serving others. Mark 10:45 says: “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many”. Serving others is an expression of our love and a reflection of our love for God.
Baptism & Salvation
Be baptised, dying to your old self and beginning a new one as a Christian (Follower of Jesus Christ) dedicated to God, a new creation. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment you have made in your heart to Jesus Christ.
Salvation is a gift from God, and comes through believing in Jesus Christ. Salvation is God’s way of providing His people deliverance from sin and spiritual death through repentance and faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Missions (Sharing The Good News With Others)
Jesus commanded us to share the Good News with others. But sometimes it’s not as easy as it might seem. Sometimes we struggle with fear, embarassment, or just plain forgetfulness, as we get caught up in doing other things.
We must never forget to always be ready to give a reason to others for the hope we have, in Christ Jesus, and to share the love of Jesus to all who need to know they are loved by God.
Part of the growth process in becoming a mature believer is as we are restored, spirit, soul, and body, we have the privilege to share that knowledge and experience so that others may be restored.
Give/Donate
Giving is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live and share with the gifts God gives us to support the ministry of the church.
We trust in Him and His provision instead of our own self-sufficiency. As people of faith, and stewards of what God provides to us, we give faithfully and generously, of our time and our finances.

Fulfilling Our Vision
- Re-establishing discipleship and healing as vital ministries of the body of Christ throughout the world.
- Uniting, healing, and restoring the army of God to prepare for the end time harvest.
- Restoring the ministry of healing and deliverance to the whole church to reach every person in every nation, that every person be brought to a place of salvation and healing because the whole person needs to be impacted by the whole God, according to:
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1Thessalonians 5:23 KJV
Testimonials
“I didn’t realize how bound I was by my past hurts until God set me free. God spoke things through others that pierced my heart and broke years of self-condemnation and self-hatred from me. After just one session, I was hooked, I couldn’t wait to get back and hear from God again. Sealing the work that was done really made a difference.”
“As we were waiting, and praying and just enjoying the peace and presence of the Holy Spirit, I began to notice that my ability to see the front of the church was better and better. By the time I was called up for my prayer session, my eyesight had been restored to where I could see clearly through both eyes, equally clear. So my time with the prayer team was more of a praise report and testimony of what had already taken place while I was waiting.”
“A team member prayed for alignment in my spine. I hadn’t mentioned that my neck seems to be displaced from proper alignment. Right Shoulder Stiffness is Gone!”
